I am drawing at my drawing table and Number Two Daughter is just home from school.

(Always looking to accentuate the positive.)

So, what's been the best part of the day?

No 2 DAUGHTER:

Finding out that Jaffa Cakes don't make me itchy.

Another Brief Snippet From the Screenplay of My Life

 THE CAR. INT. DAY.

I am driving, EBEN is sitting next to me on the front passenger seat, eyes glued to his Nintendo DS.  He's playing Scribblenauts, a (to me) incomprehensibly complex puzzle solving,role-play game in which interactive items are combined in varied and interesting combinations. 

 EBEN: 

What do you need when you go camping... 

Other than a fire, and a chair? (Pause)

 Oh! My chair's on fire....!
